KitScope is an online platform where crafters can organize, track, and share their cross-stitch patterns and projects. We only collect what we need to run the service for you, and you're always in control of your data.

This Privacy Notice for KitScope ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you visit our website at http://www.kitscope.com, create an account, or otherwise engage with us.

Your password is handled securely by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication) and is never stored by us directly. We do not collect any sensitive information (such as data about your health, race, religion, or sexual orientation), and we do not collect information from third parties.

In Short: We process your information to provide and improve our Services, to keep them secure, and to comply with law.

• To create and manage your account, so you can log in and use the Services.
• To provide the Services to you, including storing and displaying your projects, patterns, and images.

We use Google Firebase for authentication, database storage (Firestore), and file storage (Cloud Storage). Your data is stored securely within these infrastructure services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We may also share information if required to do so by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In Short: We use only essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to keep you signed in to your account, maintain your session, and remember basic preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking. 6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

In Short: We may store and process your information on servers located in other countries.

Our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) may store and process your information on servers located in the United States and the European Union. Where personal information is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account, we delete your account and associated data from our active systems. Some information may remain in backups for a limited time before it is permanently removed.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information.
